I am cared for. I am free. I am loved.”
These simple truths carry the boldness and strength to change an attitude, to change a day, to change a life. These aren’t truths that are just fun to shout out at the top of your lungs.. these are truths that our Father whispers day by day into our very hearts because we need to hear them.
As humans we desire to be loved. We long to know that we have a purpose here on earth, and that we are called to that purpose by God’s own voice. We desire to be reminded that we aren’t a failure, or ugly, or messed up, or unequipped, but that we are a masterpiece of the Creator of the Universe. We need to be reminded that there is someone who cares for us more than we can ever imagine.. even when we feel abandoned and alone. We must be reminded and declare that our past doesn’t have a hold on us anymore, that we are freed from the chains of shame, fear, and regret… We are free to choose into this freedom, a freedom that we don’t have to earn, because our Daddy loves us that much.
My first week in Thailand has revealed a lot about the country, much of which is covered in the shadows.
- 98% of the population is Buddhist.
- Out of 40,000 people in Tak fa (the providence I’m living in for 6 weeks) there are less than 100 Christians.
- It is rare to find a child that hasn’t faced some kind of sexual abuse. (this has led to the high numbers of transvestites and prostitutes and the thriving red light district that I’ll be ministering to in January.)
I’ve been given the opportunity to make His presence known, to bring life to the lifeless.
All 17 approved.
- 39,000 UNREACHED PEOPLE
- 98% WORSHIPPING THE WRONG GOD
- 17 SCHOOLS FILLED WITH STUDENTS WHO LONG TO KNOW LOVE
- 30 MINUTES TO PREACH 1 TRUTH
We declared 1 Corinthians 16:13, arm motions, shouting, and all, in a school that worships Buddha!
We have a PURPOSE! We are MASTERPIECES! We are CARED FOR! We are FREE! WE ARE LOVED!!!
MY GOD. Until this nation is so WRAPPED UP and OVERFLOWING with the Love of JESUS CHRIST that they can’t help but shout it at the top of their lungs!!
I may only have 6 weeks here, but I’ve got 30 minutes in 17 schools filled with children who desire to be loved. All I have to say is that I’ve got a lot of love and hugs to go around and
I will shout of this love at the top of my lungs!
